Breeders of Purebred Herding Border Collies
Here at SBK we strive to create healthy and happy herding collies. Our dogs retain the best of lines and excel at their work.
All puppies are Herding Started (HS) before they leave us. They spend 3 weeks of their lives getting acquainted to our sheep, learning basic commands and beginning to drive a flock as a whole litter (With their parent's help of course)
If you are interested in breeding your dog with one of our own, please consider these questions:
Is my dog purebred collie? We do not breed mixed collies
What is the purpose of this breeding? We almost always breed for herding quality, although a dogs champion lines or other talents may be considered.
Does my dog have a title? We require all dogs bred with ours to be at least Herding Excellent before being bred with our own. (CH for showing reasons)
What will I receive in return? You will be offered first pick at a puppy and I would appreciate being offered the same if I request the breeding-
Is there a fee? No, breeding's are free if they meet our requirements.
SBK's Jack Frost: Jack excels in both obedience and herding. He also comes from champion lines, making his pups suitable for showing. Jack is the only dog we will ever show in the ring. Jack is our main sire and at the moment, only male. He is a black and white extreme irish with a split face and brown eyes.
SBK's Red Beauty: Scarlet is our best herder. She has reached her maximum potential in titles with herding skills and she also has a wonderful personality. She is a red tricolor with hazel eyes.
SBK's Mountain Marvel: Echo is our youngest dog, although she is still a wonderful herder. She also works with agility in her spare time and has done well so far in her titling. Echo is a red merle with ice blue eyes.
